Seacoast Contra is seeking passionate individuals to fill four key volunteer roles:

1. Dance Floor Setup & Breakdown Team:
Do you enjoy lending a helping hand? Become part of our dedicated team responsible for setting up the dance space before each event and cleaning up afterward. Sign Up Here Setup and Breakdown Volunteers

2. Dance Manager:
Ensure our dances run smoothly by taking on the role of Dance Manager. You’ll answer questions, resolve conflicts, and ensure everyone feels comfortable and respected.

3. Door Volunteer:
Be the welcoming face at the entrance! Collect admission fees, distribute flyers, and keep the entrance area organized.

4. Dance Angel:
Welcome new dancers with a warm smile, answer their questions, introduce them to other friendly faces, and extend a hand to join them on the dance floor! Help them feel comfortable, supported, and ready to experience the joy of contra dancing.

No matter your experience level, we have a place for you! We provide comprehensive training and support to ensure you feel confident and prepared in your role. As a volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in creating a vibrant and inclusive contra dance community.

After helping (Arrive by 7:00 PM, please. You’ll work until about 9:15 PM), you’ll be given one pass for a future dance, as well as dancing the rest of the night for free.
